KHAMMAM: Leaders all political parties, including the Congress, expressed their solidarity with the striking panchayati raj employees here on Tuesday. The employees’ organisation has resolved to resort to direct action if the government failed to respond positively by Wednesday. At an all-party meeting held here, Thammineni Veerabhadram, Khammam, (CPI-M MLA), T. V. Choudhary (CPI), Balasani Lakshminarayna (TDP), Samineni Hariprasad (Congress) and other leaders from TRS, BJP and New Democracy declared their support to panchayati raj employees, who took out a procession with candle lights in the evening. – Staff Reporter
