Jeev finishes tied 11th

Cologne: Jeev Milkha Singh brought home his best card of the week — a four-under 68 — to cut through the clutter and finish tied 11th in the Mercedes-Benz golf championship here.

Compatriot S.S.P. Chowrasia (313) finished tied 73rd, while Jyoti Randhawa finished last, another seven shots behind.

Atwal joint 18th

At Boise (USA), Arjun Atwal signed off with a bogey-free three-under 68 to finish tied 18th in the Albertsons Boise Open golf on the Nationwide Tour. Atwal was in title contention before a poor third round of 73 put paid to his hopes.

American Christ Tidland blasted a seven-under 64 to aggregate 264 and lift the title, four shots ahead of Scott Piercy. — PTI
