Bangalore: Arjun’s all-round performance (41 and five for 10) helped M. Visweswaraiah Institute of Technology defeat Thimaiah IT by 41 runs in a B.S. Ramaiah Memorial inter-engineering college tournament match here on Monday.

MVIT 136 for six in 27 overs (Arjun 41) bt Thimaiah IT 95 in 23.2 overs (Arjun five for 10).

SBMJCE 185 for six in 30 overs (S.N. Pradeep 58 n.o., Bharath 54) bt Atria Institute of Technology 113 in 23.5 overs (Suraj Subramanya 41).

SEA CE 206 for nine in 30 overs (Javed 56 n.o.) bt City CE 133 in 26.2 overs.
