Double delight for KSP

BANGALORE: Karnataka State Police (KSP) extended its lease over the State ‘A’ Division volleyball league championship title for yet another year, making it three-in-a-row and fifth overall. At the Sree Kanteerava Stadium outdoor courts, the State cops outspiked Madras Engineering Group (MEG) 31-29, 31-29, 25-22.

KSP women made it a double delight with a 25-21, 25-12, 25-20 win over Sports Hostel Mysore to assert its supremacy in the State.

Mamata Rao, Shyla and youngsters Ashwini and Ramya played consistently for the policewomen. — Special Correspondent
