Milk price spat reaches High Court

BANGALORE: The spat between the State Government and the Karnataka Milk Federation over the issue of hike in price of milk took a new turn on Monday with the State filing a caveat before the Karnataka High Court.

While the State is firm that there should not be a hike, the KMF has cited operational and administrative costs for raising the price of milk.

With both parties sticking to their stand, the State on Monday decided to pre-empt KMF from obtaining any ex-parte order against it by filing a caveat.
