e-mail traced to Mumbai

Devesh K. Pandey

NEW DELHI: The e-mail sent by terrorist outfit Indian Mujahideen to media organisations minutes before the blasts in the Capital on Saturday has been traced to a firm in Mumbai.

Investigations so far have revealed that the e-mail that originated from Internet address “ al_arbi_delhi@yahoo.com” was sent using the wi-fi Internet connection of a company named Kamran Power Control. The firm is located in a building on 16th Road in the Chembur area of Mumbai.

The same technique was used to send a similar e-mail owning up the recent Ahmedabad blasts.
