Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Saturday announced an ex gratia of Rs.5 lakh for each of the dead and Rs. 50,000 for those injured in the serial blasts.

The Chief Minister said that her government would bear all expenses for treatment of the injured.

The Chief Minister condemned the blasts, terming them “dastardly and cowardly acts of terrorism,” and urged the people to maintain peace and calm.

She also held consultations with Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil.
