Shops exempted

The State Government has exempted all shops and establishments from Sections 9,10,11,14,15 and 16 of the Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishments Act for Deepavali and Ramzan festivals for the following period: September 13 to October 10 (45 days). The above mentioned exemptions are given subject to the usual conditions, according to a press release from Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
