Snehapriya puts SH in final

MYSORE: Snehapriya (18) powered Sports Hostel (Mysore) to a 55-34 win over Beagles SC (Bangalore) and into the final of the women’s section in the State-level invitation basketball tournament here on Friday.

The results:

Women: Semifinals: Sports Hostel 55 (Snehapriya 18) bt Beagles 34 (Sandya 12).

Men: League: Jayanagar SC (Bangalore) 66 (Sujan 15, Minhal 13) bt BSNL (Bangalore) 53 (Ajmal 20, Yaseem 15).

Vivekananda SC (Mandya) 62 (Raja 17, Trishul 15) bt Yong Orions (Bangalore) 40 (Aravind 20, Anil 17).
