VELLORE: Kancheepuram made 268 in the first innings on the first day of its quarterfinal encounter against Vellore in the TNC under-22 inter-district cricket tournament, here on Friday. In reply, Vellore was 19 for one at close.

The scores: Kancheepuram 268 in 79 overs (A.C. Pradeepan 84, S. Ashwin 62, A. Jagannathan three for 66, V. Naresh Babu three for 33) vs. Vellore 19 for one in nine overs.
