Double for Arjun Rao

Bangalore: Delhi Public School’s R. Arjun Rao bagged a double, winning the senior boys’ 50m backstroke and 50m breaststroke events in the JASE Cup sports meet’s swimming event here on Friday.

The results (winners only): Swimming: Senior boys: 4x50m relay: JIRS, 2:27s; 100m freestyle: Raunak Choudhary (JIRS), 1:11.72; 50m backstroke: R. Arjun Rao (DPS), 35.22; 50m breaststroke: R. Arjun Rao (DPS), 37.48.

Junior boys: 100m freestyle: K.S. Akshay (DPS), 1:12.47; 50m backstroke: K.S. Akshay (DPS), 38.78; 50m breaststroke: C. Jitesh (DPS), 43.16.

Senior girls: 100m freestyle: Mythereyi Raaj (Indus International School), 1:18; 50m backstroke: Priyanka (DPS), 45.45; 50m breaststroke: Nikita Vasisht (DPS), 47.29.

Junior girls: 100m freestyle: Malavika (DPS), 1:13.06; 50m backstroke: Ishani Pandya (JIRS), 37.53; 50m breaststroke: Bhavnanjani (International School), 43.35.
