VIJAYAWADA: Kadapa bowled out Kurnool for 139 in its first innings on the opening day of the two-day ACA South Zone u-14 inter-district tournament for Fr. Vincent Ferrer Trophy at Anantapur. ’In reply, Kadapa was 109 for two in 32 overs.
In another match, Nellore was 66 for six at close after bundling out Chittoor for 77.
The scores: Chittoor 77 in 39 overs (Balasubrahmanyam five for 11, Manoj four for 27) vs. Nellore 66 for six in 41 overs; Kurnool 139 in 71.5 overs (Kesava Reddy 31, Ramesh Reddy four for 48) vs. Kadapa 109 for two in 32 overs (Druva Kumar Reddy 42).
