TVS franchisee chain to sell spare parts

MADURAI: T. V. Sundaram Iyengar and Sons launched a unique chain of franchisee outlets, ‘TVS PartSmart,’ to sell multi-brand spare parts for commercial vehicles here on Wednesday. The initiative envisages setting up of 275 standalone outlets across the country in three years. The first two outlets would be inaugurated in Madurai on Thursday and more would come up in Coimbatore, Salem, Tirunelveli and Tiruchi before the end of 2008 and in Chennai before March, 2009. — Special Correspondent
