NEW DELHI: Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development D. Purandeswari has said that the Centre was yet to decide on the location of a campus of Dhanbad-based Indian School of Mines (ISM) University in Andhra Pradesh.

Though a request has come from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy recently to open the campus at Khammam, a decision in this regard could not be taken as Union HRD Minister Arjun Singh is indisposed, she told mediapersons here. On reports that actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi, who has launched his Praja Rajyam party recently, might storm AP politics a la her father late N.T. Rama Rao, Mrs. Purandeswari said the former could not be compared with NTR as the two have distinctive styles.

When pointed out that all her brothers have started rallying behind TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, she said that she had the blessings of NTR; besides Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi were encouraging her to do a lot of good things to the public and she was satisfied with her work.
