IGNOU plans campus call centre

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University is mulling over setting up a mini call centre on its campus to handle learners’ queries with better service delivery. “A proposal is under consideration,” said an IGNOU official.

Meanwhile, IGNOU has set up an integrated upgraded telecom system on its campus that will become operational by this month end. Set up in collaboration with Mahanagar Telecom Nigam Limited, the system will enable better connectivity and quick dissemination of information.
