Medical college under ESIC

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The construction of the Medical College under the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) will begin at Paripally in Kollam district soon. Labour Minister P.K. Gurudasan, said here today that the work would be done by the government agency, the Hindustan Prefab Ltd. He described the Union Labour Ministry’s decision to start the work on the medical college as an Onam gift of the ESIC. The Minister added that the Director General of the ESIC had informed the government of the sanctioning of 200 more beds to the ESI Hospital at Paripally. —Special Correspondent
