Deal may be inked this month: U.S.

Sandeep Dikshit

NEW DELHI: The United States has said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh could sign the Indo-U.S. nuclear deal during his visit to Washington towards the end of this month. “I don’t know the answer to that. I’m presuming if it’s passed by the [U.S.] Congress it’s an opportunity certainly to sign it, but nothing has been decided and announced,” U.S. Ambassador to India David Mulford said at a news conference on Tuesday.
