Corporation Bank launches travel card

BANGALORE: Corporation Bank, in association with JP Morgan and Visa, has launched a prepaid card for international travellers. Speaking at the launch, B. R. Bhat, General Manager of the bank, said the pre-funded card would provide flexibility of a credit card while eliminating the risks associated with carrying cash or travellers cheques. The card, initially to be denominated in U.S. dollars, would soon be available in euro and in British pound sterling. — Special Correspondent
