Prasad said: “We cannot speak of ifs and buts. You are saying it is a threat. Till I get a confirmation of what the threat is I cannot react.” The Dadar police station issued a fresh restraint order against Mr. Thackeray, on Monday, in connection with the issue of Marathi signboards. It reiterated the terms of an earlier show cause notice issued against him, banning him from making inflammatory speeches and taking out rallies.
