Ajay wins title

Bangalore: Ajay Jayaram won his maiden international badminton title in the Waikato International at Hamilton in New Zealand on Sunday, according to a Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy (PPBA) press release.

In the final, Ajay defeated his fellow PPBA trainee Prakash Jolly 21-11, 21-14. The press release also mentioned that National champion Chetan Anand lost to Kenichi Tago of Japan in the Yonex Belgian International final. Tago won 21-16, 15-21, 21-19.
