Kancheepuram in second round
CHENNAI: Kancheepuram moved into the second round after winning all its three matches held recently at Theni in the TNCA inter-district under-14 cricket tournament.
The scores: Theni 117 for two in 38 overs (Venkatesh Subramani 45, Venkatesh 40) lost to Kancheepuram 110 for four in 28 overs (U. Vishal 51, S.R. Sudharsan 28); Kancheepuram 254 for six in 50 overs (U. Vishal 79, Vishwesh 28, B. Vasanth 72 n.o.) bt Dharmapuri 45 (S.M. Aravind three for 12); Kancheepuram 93 for eight in 28 overs (B. Vasanth 26) bt Thiruvannamalai 42 in 23.5 overs (J. Deepak three for four, Anirudh three for three).
