Mallika to abide by party decision

VIJAYAWADA: Mayor Mallika Begum on Sunday said she would abide by the decision of the Congress high command in respect of re-entry of former MLA Jaleel Khan into the party.

Responding to a report published in these columns, Ms. Begum said that she had no personal opinion on the issue of Mr. Khan’s application for joining the party. “As a loyal activist of the Congress, I will wholeheartedly accept any decision taken by the party high command and extend my cooperation,” she said.
