City-based Butterfly Fields launches the ‘concept map’

The company is a brainchild of alumni of IIT/IIM

HYDERABAD: In an era where rote learning has become the norm among schoolchildren, with parents and teachers seldom encouraging them to understand the concept(s) and their applicability in real life, an initiative by Butterfly Fields, a brainchild of IIT/IIM alumni has come as a breather.

Butterfly Fields, a city-based company launched ‘concept map’, a new teaching-learning aid on the occasion of Teachers Day. The product was released by Hyderabad Collector Navin Mittal.

A concept map is a colourful representation of a theory/model explained with the help of diagrams and brief notes in bullet-point format. The idea is to make a student understand the crux of a theory at a single go instead of flipping over different pages in a textbook, which is distracting and stressful.

Various branches

Here, a concept is explained by various branches that connect to the central theme. Each of these branches teaches the fundamentals in simple, comprehensible language
