VISAKHAPATNAM: Bank of India, as a part of expanding its network, will open three more branches in the district soon. Bank’s Zonal Manager R. Sampath presiding over the inauguration of the Suryabagh branch’s new premises said two branches would be opened at MVP Colony and NAD Kotharoad in the city. Another branch would be located at Chodavaram. The Visakhapatnam zone was doing well in extending advances to small-scale industries and the farm sector. The bank’s 53 branches in the zone had recorded a business of Rs.2,500 crores last year, Mr. Sampat said. Founding Trustee of Sri Sampath Vinayagar temple T.S. Rajeswaran, the bank’s Assistant General Manager Vaidyanathan, Chief Manager D.V.S.S. Satyanarayana Rao and Managers L. Adiram, T.N. Krishna Murthy and K. Satyam Naidu participated.
