APSRTC announces enhanced daily wages

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has announced enhanced daily wages and consolidated monthly salary of drivers and conductors working on casual and contract basis respectively. The increase will take effect from August 1 this year.

A press release issued by the corporation here on Sunday said the revised daily wages were Rs.207 (old rate Rs.184) for casual HV driver Gr II and Rs.169 (Rs.150) for conductor group II/LV driver.

In the case of contract drivers and conductors the increased salary would be Rs.5, 381 (Rs.4781 old) for HV driver Gr II and Rs.4,397 (Rs.3,897) for conductor Gr II.

Allowance

In addition to the revised daily wage/consolidated salary, the casual and contract drivers working in Hyderabad City Zone are entitled to boarding and lodging allowance of Rs.500 a month, attendance incentive of Rs. 400 (for attendance ranging from 18-21 days in a calendar month) and Rs. 700 (for attendance of 22 days and above in a calendar month).
