Office-bearers of Press Club, APUWJ elected

VIJAYAWADA: Members of the Vijayawada Press Club on Sunday unanimously elected A. Brahmaiah as their president, B. William Paul and D. Venkateswara Rao as vice-presidents, P. Madhusudhana Rao as secretary, Ch. Narayana and R. Surya Kiran as joint secretaries, D. Durgam Raju as treasurer and G. Raghuram, Khizer Ahmed, K. Vijaya Lakshmi, R.V. Appa Rao, T. Nageswara Rao and V. Rama Chandra Rao as executive members. Members of the Vijayawada urban unit of the Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists also unanimously elected their new office-bearers for 2008-09. Sk. Babu is the president, B.B. Bahadur and B. Nagaraju vice-presidents, Ch. Ravi secretary, S.M. Basha joint secretary, P. David Raju treasurer and K. Joseph, K. L. Narasimha Rao, P. Surendra Kumara and P. Suryanarayana executive members.
