Spurred by it, we are now planning to conduct free camp for those with ear problems like recurring ear discharge, hearing loss, ear blocking sensation, etc. We are continuously trying our best to bring the latest technology in ENT accessible to all sections of the society. The latest equipment we have in our hospital is not available in other corporate hospitals in the region,” he said.

Dr. Bapa Rao said the unique facilities available include diode laser in ENT, Xomed microbrider for treatment of sinusitis and nasal polyps, sleep laboratory for people with severe snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, and allergy clinic or allergic rhinitis patients.

The advantages of diode laser was that it helps in securing good haemostasis and therefore was a bloodless surgery with post-operative pain very less.
