Rhythm divine: Popular singer and entertainer Smita launched a dance reality show. The small screen’s charm is irresistible. The biggest and most popular stars of the silver screen have fallen to the allure that the idiot box ooze and from Amitabh Bachchan to Radhika to Suhasini to Anushka, the beckoning of television was hard to resist. Reality showNow, popular singer and entertainer Smita has a dance realty show where she invites the right talent to join her in dancing on stage not only in the country but also abroad. It is the maiden venture of Smita’s own production house ‘I Candy Entertainment’. The talented singer, who made a mark for herself in the entertainment industry with a series of hugely popular albums, personally handled the selection of aspirants. More than 650 dancers from across the State participated for the show and 36 of them were selected and brought to the city for training, grooming and styling. ChoreographersTop choreographers Bosco and Caesar will be part of this process and the duo will actually be a part of the final rounds of the contest. Everything for the show is taken up at a level that the industry has not been used to and the costumes of the dancers come from best fashion designers and styling and makeover is taken care of Smita’s own salon Bubbles. While ensuring excitement and fun for viewers, the show offers winners an opportunity to tour with Smita on her shows in India and abroad. This apart, they also get dancers cards which gives them the required licence to perform anywhere in the world. New platform“We look forward to create a platform that turns many more dreams into reality,” says Smita.
