Innings win for South

South Zone beat Central Zone by an innings and 86 runs in the round-robin match of the ACA under-16 inter-zone tournament at Vizianagaram on Sunday.

South Zone received six points from the match, including a bonus point.

The scores: Central Zone 147 and 77 in 56.1 overs (K. Rajeev 28, D. Naren Reddy four wickets for nine, C. Vinod Kumar four for 16) lost to South Zone 310.

Commissioner’s XI wins

KDCA Commissioner’s XI defeated KDCA President’s XI by 27 runs in a cricket match held at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation stadium, Vijayawada, on Sunday.
