Teachers’ convention

BANGALORE: The Karnataka Rajya Shikshakara Prathibha Parishat will hold a State-level academic convention and Teachers’ Day celebrations on September 13 at the Jaganmohan Palace in Mysore. The parishat will honour teachers, with the “best teacher” award in primary and secondary school categories. The awardees will be presented with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a certificate. Twenty teachers in district levels will be honoured with ‘Gurushresta’ title and a certificate. — Staff Reporter
