Demonstration staged

Tirupur: Members of ‘Desiya Thozhilalar Katchi’ staged a demonstration in front of the railway station here on Sunday to press their demands.

They urged the revenue administration to take steps for impartial distribution of ration cards. “It should also be ensured that all essential commodities are given through fair price shops in appropriate quantities to the consumers,” they said.
