Hindu Rao doctors decide to continue strike

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Resident doctors at Bara Hindu Rao Hospital here have decided to continue with their strike that started on Wednesday night, insisting on their demands being met. While emergency service and casualty remain functional, other medical services are shut.

Resident Doctors’ Association joint secretary Munna Vishwakarma said: “ We feel bad about the situation, but we refuse to come back to work until our demands are addressed.” “We have spoken to the representative of various other government hospitals in the city and have decided that we will return to work only after our work environment is improved. We have also written to the Delhi Chief Minister asking her to look into our problems.”
