Medical conference

MADURAI: ‘MEDICON 2008,’ a medical conference, was held at Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre on Sunday. Addressing the conference, C. N. Deivanayagam, consultant, WHO for Tuberculosis/AIDS, said that TB could be detected early and was curable.

Personal hygiene and nutritious food would go a long way in achieving a TB-free India, he said.
