KOCHI: The top two seeds, Ernakulam’s top-seeded Thomas Kurian and defending champion K.A. Aneesh, comfortably entered the men’s quarterfinals in the 39th Seshasayee State senior badminton championship at the FACT Udyogamandal Club, Eloor, on Friday evening. However, Ernakulam’s third-seeded Antony K. Jacob crashed out, losing to Thrissur’s Bennet Antony in three games. The results: Men’s singles pre-quarterfinals: Thomas Kurian (Ekm) bt P.
