Passport mela

Kakinada: A passport mela will be conducted here on Sept. 27 to help those aspiring to travel abroad either for jobs or touring foreign countries. The Ministry of External Affairs has given permission to conduct the event, Union Minister of State for Defence Pallam Raju told reporters here on Friday. Applications for passports could be submitted and the status of applications currently under process could be known. This is the first such programme being conducted in Kakinada to fulfil the needs of foreign travellers. – Staff Reporter
