Speed reading competition for school students tomorrow

Newspaper in Education and Only Success Learning Technologies to organise it

CHENNAI: As part of the ‘Newspaper in Education’ (NIE) initiative of The Hindu, a Speed Reading Competition will be organised for schools that are part of the this programme, on Saturday.

Venue

The competition, being organised in association with Only Success Learning Technologies, will be held at Kumararajah Muthiah Auditorium, Chettinad Vidyashram School, MRC Nagar, at 1 p.m.

Around 1,500 students from classes VI to VIII are expected to participate in it which offers a sum of Rs.60,000 in prize money.

Aminur Rahman, Consul-General, Australian Consulate, will distribute the prizes to winners.
