BSNL enters quarterfinals

BANGALORE: BSNL Sports Club defeated Nationals (Mysore) 64-49 after leading 36-29 at half time in the State ‘C’ division basketball championship at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium courts, here on Thursday.

With this win, BSNL has entered the quarterfinals of the tournament.

The other teams to make the last-eight round are National Games BC, Dakshina Kannada District and Southern Blues.

The results: Southern Blues bt BCYA 54-34; D.K. District bt BEL SC 51-23; NGV BC bt Falcons 41-24; BSNL bt Nationals (Mysore) 64-49.
