I am happy to know about the sesquicentennial celebrations of the University of Madras. The university is one of India’s leading institutions of higher education. It has a proud record of excellence and its alumni have made their mark in diverse fields all over the world. I compliment the faculty, staff and students of the university for their achievements. I am sure that the glorious tradition of this great institution will continue in the future too. I wish the University of Madras all the very best.
