Sept. 15 last date for Inter first year exam fee

Candidates seeking attendance exemption have to pay a fee of Rs. 500 in addition to the exam fee

HYDERABAD: The last date for payment of fee for first year Intermediate students (general and vocational) is September 15.

A statement from the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) said that for ‘regular’ students the date for payment of fee with late fee fine of Rs. 100 has been fixed to be September 24. However, candidates appearing ‘privately’ have to pay Rs. 200 as latefine. Private candidates can also pay up to October 3 with a late fee of Rs. 300.

The examination fee for general courses is Rs. 200 while it is Rs. 250 for vocational courses. Examination fee for Bridge course vocational is Rs. 50.

The cost of the application form is Rs. 10.

Candidates seeking attendance exemption have to pay exemption fee of Rs. 500 in addition to the examination fee of Rs. 200.

Cost of the application forms for these students is Rs. 20. The BIE said that the principals of the colleges have to accept the attendance exemption and examination forms from private candidates after a thorough scrutiny.

The forms can be obtained from the office of Regional Inspection Officer, BIE. Candidates who have passed their SSC or its equivalent examination from other boards have to obtain an eligibility Certificate from the BIE to appear for the examinations. The statement further added that the last date would not be extended and those failing to use this opportunity have to invariably apply for Tatkal scheme.
