Harika to play tie-break games

NEW DELHI: World junior girls’ champion, D. Harika, will be involved in the second-round tie-break rapid games with 11th seeded Slovenian Anna Muzychuk on Wednesday following a well fought draw in the second game at Nalchik, Russia, on Tuesday.

Harika, playing black, proved equal to every challenge in this Sicilian Rossolimo game.

The battle was fought on an even keel and eventually, following an ending involving a rook each, the players decided to sign peace after 61 moves.
