RTC bus hits woman SI

HYDERABAD: The condition of Dhana Laxmi, woman SI of Banjara Hills police station, who was hit by an RTC bus in Srinagar Colony on Sunday night, continued to be critical on Monday.

Ms. Laxmi was checking vehicles around 8.30 p.m. along with other police constables near Green Bawarchi hotel when a bus of HCU depot hit her. She suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills. The bus driver was taken into custody.
