Acid attack on woman

VISAKHAPATNAM: A sex maniac allegedly threw acid on a woman’s face when she turned down his demand to have sex with him.

B. Devudamma, 40, earns a living by sweeping the shops at Dondaparthy junction. Sanyasi Rao who owns a pan shop in the same area, has been seeking sexual favours from her for the past sometime. Enraged at her refusal, he took a bottle of bathroom cleaning acid and threw it on Duvudamma’s face on Monday.

Fourth Town CI M. Srinivasa Rao said that the woman was shifted to the King George Hospital for treatment and the accused was arrested.
