Vacate stay on land holding by tribals: Girijana Sangham

HYDERABAD: The A.P. Girijana Sangham has demanded steps by the government to vacate the High Court stay not to issue letters empowering tribals to own forest lands without its approval.

At a roundtable organised here on Monday to mark 68th anniversary of tribal leader Komaram Bheem, the sangham leaders wanted action against Forest Department officials who blocked implementation of acts to benefit girijans.
