HYDERABAD: A 105-year-old woman, perhaps the oldest visitor in recent past, raised curiosity of the onlookers in State Assembly lobbies on Monday.

Helped by her 75- year-old son, the elderly woman was bent with age and walked with a stick. But her enthusiasm of visiting the Assembly premises for the first time, remained intact. “I wanted to see the Assembly and put forward two demands — pension and a house under Indiramma scheme,” she told curious media persons. She travelled down all the way from the old town of Kurnool.

The woman later met the Marketing Minister M. Mareppa who gave an assurance to revive her pension and to allot her a house.
