New Delhi: Gagan Verma, Saurab Bahuguna and Rashid Khan will spearhead the Indian challenge at the World amateur golf championship for the Eisenhower Cup that gets underway at Adelaide, Australia from October 16 to 19.

Gagan and Saurab have been in good nick throughout the year and were tied for the first place while 17-year-old Rashid, the reigning junior No. 1, was placed behind them in the selection.

The trio have been selected for the World Cup after eight rounds of gruelling golf on four different courses in the NCR region. — PTI
