CHENNAI: NAPC Properties, a division of NAPC has entered into a strategic partnership with Maverick Fitness, one of the early entrants in the fitness arena. This partnership will facilitate rapid expansion of Maverick Fitness into other geographies. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Varun Manian, Managing Director, NAPC Properties, said Maverick Fitness planned to open 25 centres in the next three years. The immediate plans were for Coimbatore, Salem, and Tiruchi besides adding two new centres in Chennai. It will invest Rs. 2-2.50 crore per centre, of which 50 per cent will come from NAPC and the balance from Maverick Fitness. Mr. Manian said physical health had always been a high priority for founders of NAPC and partnership with a professionally run high-end chain is a step in the right direction.
