Students present ingenious ideas

BUDDING TALENTS: A student explains an exhibit at the science exhibition held at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pallipuram, on Saturday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A geo-thermal power plant and production of electrical energy from a gymnasium were among some of the innovative ideas showcased at a science exhibition held at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pallippuram, on Saturday.

The exhibition was organised to select exhibits and projects for the regional-level exhibition of Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. According to a press note issued by the school, the response from the students was “overwhelming.” The exhibition was formally inaugurated by B. Ramachandran, Principal. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pallippuram, has been participating in the Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition every year to provide a platform to its budding scientists.
