Producer Sunanda Murali Manohar along with Medione Global Enterainment Limited who has bought the film ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ has chalked-out a plan. The action film, released on Friday, has ‘Jayam’ Ravi as the hero with Kangana Ranaut and Lakshmi Rai in the female leads. The majority of the action sequences have been filmed in Russia. This is the last film of cinematographer-director Jeeva who passed away during the shoot. Dr. Murali Manohar says: “Dhaam Dhoom could easily be the first Indian action film produced abroad that could be compared to any Hollywood movie.” To curb copyright theft and piracy of this film via VCDs, cable and Internet, the production house has created a special cell to work closely with the law enforcing officers of Tamil Nadu. Actor ‘Jayam’ Ravi’s fans associations will also closely work with the team to curb it. A cell has been set-up under the leadership of producer-director K.Rajan. The cell would appoint its own detectives to monitor and inform the police about those who sell pirated VCDs of the film. A dedicated telephone number would be announced soon and reward given to anyone who gives the team information on pirated VCDs or DVDs of the film.
