Free rice kits for tribal people

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State government will give rice kits of 12 kg each free to tribal families in connection with Onam, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Minister A.K. Balan said in an official release here on Sunday. He said the kits were being given in addition to the rice and wheat distributed at Rs.3 a kg through ration shops. — Special Correspondent
