LNCPE in final

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LNCPE, Kariyavattom, will take on Jamal Mohd. College, Tiruchi, in the final of the 6th Major Dhyan Chand memorial South India hockey tournament.

In the semifinals at the LNCPE ground on Sunday, LNCPE defeated St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchi, 2-1 while Jamal Mohd. College edged out Fathima Matha National College 4-3 via tie-breaker after both teams drew 2-2 in regular time. In women’s section SN College, Kollam defeated UC College, Aluva 3-2.
